Started my band Whyld Honey last summer, Jordan Carls on Piano/Sax and Arrangments and Josh Daniel King on Electric Guitar/BGVs. Added Rob Labig on smoking hot Drums and Levi Brown on Bass setting that sultry foundation.
Josh moved on this summer and we've added Ward Johnston on Electric & Acoustic Guitar. Levi's taking the summer to travel so we're looking for a new bass player.
I'm doing what we all do ... keeping my options open for new opportunities to experiment and let my vocal soar. August 6th, catch me singing in with Mike Gwinn & the North Fork Flyers at the Telluride Jazz Festival (a dream come true) August 19th, come listen to my good friend Ellen Stapenhorst perform her originals with me backing on piano and vocals.

Current Band Members ...
Yvonne Meek - Vocals/Piano
Susan Walton - Vocals/Bass/Percussion/Guitar
Mark Renninger - Acoustic Guitar/Vocals
Bill Ungerer - Electric Guitar
Since the release of my CD MOSAIC in August 2009, I've played with quite a few local musicians in my search for a band to both back me as a vocalist and play together as a team.
In November Susan Walton, formerly of her band Pearl Road, and I began playing together as a duo with Susan providing guitar/vocals/percussion. We soon became a trio adding Mark Renninger on acoustic guitar/vocals. Over the holidays Susan decided to learn to play bass and is now playing bass rather than guitar. Just last week Mark recommended a mutual friend Bill Ungerer to step in as an electric guitar player.
I'm still looking for a drummer or percussionist to add to the mix ... time will tell! And we just might need a name ... any suggestions?

I love this band! I can empathically state that this band is absolutely the best band I've been involved with in 25+ years of performing. Not only are they a talented group of musicians, but they are fantastic people to work with. Keep checking back as we are working on keeping our schedule full for the coming year!
If you know of a venue you'd like to see us play, PLEASE, put in a good word with the Owner/Booking Manager AND let us know you have so we can follow up with a booking!
